In the fast-paced city life, finding a sense of authenticity, simplicity, transparency, and peace can be a challenge. However, designer Yong Zhang has managed to capture these qualities in the residential house known as "Place of Comfort." With precise design and classic color collocation, this project creates an extremely comfortable and warm living environment for modern people.
Abandoning the stacking of cumbersome and complicated elements, Yong Zhang has returned to the original intention of architectural aesthetics. The result is a space that exudes elegance, with a dialogue between light and shadow and a layer of nobility in the texture. The design focuses on creating a harmony between the space and the human, ensuring that every corner of the house is inviting and serene.
The project covers a total of 117 square meters and utilizes materials such as ceramic tile, wallpaper, latex paint, KD, stainless steel, and stone. These materials are carefully chosen to enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space.
Embellished with no boring colors, "Place of Comfort" is enlightened with a pot of green plants, adding vitality and aura to the space. The artistic lighting on the small cabinet fills the room with scattered layers of light and shadow, creating a contrast with the surrounding environment and adding a touch of sophistication.
The bedroom features original wooden floors and wooden veneer, creating a warm and mellow environment for a good night's sleep. The wide windows, adorned with curtains of the same color, allow every beam of sunshine to illuminate the room. The high-back bed, with its retro and rustic features, exudes luxury and comfort, ensuring that the owners have a restful sleep every night.
The study room in "Place of Comfort" is designed to provide an elegant and high-level atmosphere, perfect for working from home. The shelves are adorned with books and decorations, creating a sense of cultural immersion and a serene environment for work and study. The design of the study room reflects the designer's attention to detail and the desire to create a space that nurtures both the body and the soul.
In this project, Yong Zhang boldly uses ultra-low saturation color schemes to create a subversive warm texture. The design showcases that lightness and mellowness can coexist, as well as style and timelessness, elegance and simplicity. Every detail, color, and corner of "Place of Comfort" has been carefully curated to provide a moment of style, a beam of soft light, and a stack of beautiful dreams for the owners.
